Bugatti highlights Sur Mesure craft with W16 Mistral Caroline one-off
Bugatti presented the W16 Mistral “Caroline” as a Sur Mesure one‑off that turns a client’s tribute into detailed automotive craft.
The company described a bespoke ‘Lavender’ paint that shifts between bluish and reddish violet, paired with exposed Violet Carbon panels and a retractable rear wing used as a hand‑painted canvas.
Inside, Blanc and Minuit leathers are combined with thousands of hand‑stitched floral motifs on the headrests, and the gear selector houses the Dancing Elephant sculpture.
Bugatti’s design and materials teams worked closely with the owner to realize the concept.
The release matters because it demonstrates Bugatti’s artisan pipeline and bespoke value proposition as the marque phases out the W16 powerplant.
