  The Bugatti W16 Mistral represents the final iteration of the legendary platform, marking the end of the W16 engine era.

  The project is focused on achieving extreme speed performance in the open-top hypercar segment, combining the uncompromising engineering of the Chiron Super Sport 300 with the unique architecture of a roadster.

  Despite the absence of a roof, the car retains the structural rigidity and aerodynamic excellence characteristic of a coupe.

  Powertrain The engine compartment houses an 8.0-liter W16 engine with four turbochargers operating on the principle of sequential turbocharging.

  The powertrain delivers 1,600 hp and peak torque of 1,600 Nm, available across a wide range of engine speeds.

  Technical refinements include optimization of the intake system via "ram air" intakes located directly behind the seat headrests, which ensures intense filling of the combustion chambers and a distinctive acoustic signature.

  Transmission and Dynamics Power is transmitted via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to the permanent all-wheel-drive system.

  Intelligent torque distribution between the axles enables acceleration to 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds.

  The electronic top speed limiter is set at 420 km/h, but during special tests, the prototype demonstrated its potential by reaching 453.91 km/h, making the Mistral the world’s fastest production roadster.

  Body and Aerodynamics The aerodynamic package has been completely redesigned for open-top driving.

  The front end features an enlarged radiator grille for improved cooling, while vertically oriented LED headlights help optimize airflow around the front wheels.

  An enlarged diffuser and an active spoiler provide the necessary downforce at ultra-high speeds.

  Forged wheels and a carbon-ceramic braking system ensure stability during intense deceleration.

  Interior The cabin is crafted using premium materials: aniline leather, Alcantara, and composite panels.

  Distinctive interior features include door panels with a woven leather pattern and a gearshift lever inlaid with a “Dancing Elephant” figurine—a nod to the brand’s classic models.

  The personalization program allows customers to choose unique color schemes and trim configurations, ensuring that no two vehicles are identical.
