Koenigsegg Regera 2020
The Swedish Koenigsegg Regera is a hybrid megacar that combines extreme power with the comfort of a luxury grand tourer.
Its carbon-fibre body, active aerodynamics and removable roof panel reflect the model’s technical and elegant character.
Powertrain and performance
The hybrid system combines a 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with three electric motors.
Combined power exceeds 1,500 hp, while maximum torque is 2,000 N·m.
Instead of a conventional gearbox, the Regera uses Koenigsegg Direct Drive, which sends power directly to the rear axle.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes around 2.8 seconds, and the stated top speed exceeds 400 km/h.
Construction and interior
The car is built around a carbon-fibre monocoque with integrated fuel tanks and battery.
An active rear wing, controllable front flaps and adaptive suspension automatically adjust according to speed.
The cabin is trimmed in leather, Alcantara and carbon fibre.
Autoskin allows the doors and bonnets to be opened remotely and the wing mirrors to be folded using hydraulic actuators.
