  The 2022 Ford GT is the final model year of the American supercar, built using technology from Ford’s Le Mans racing program.

  Its carbon-fiber construction, active aerodynamics, and compact EcoBoost engine give it a character fundamentally different from that of the supercharged 2005 Ford GT.

  Powertrain and Performance Behind the cabin sits a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6 engine, producing 660 l. s. and 746 N·m.

  Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a seven-speed Getrag dual-clutch automatic transmission.

  Acceleration to 100 km/h takes approximately 3 seconds, and the top speed reaches 347 km/h.

  The electronic systems offer several driving modes, including Track and V-Max, which adjust the settings for the suspension, aerodynamics, and powertrain.

  Design and Aerodynamics The car is built on a carbon-fiber monocoque with aluminum subframes and carbon-fiber body panels.

  The active rear wing automatically adjusts its angle of attack and functions as an air brake, while the adjustable suspension can lower the ride height for track driving.

  The supercar is equipped with Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and 20-inch wheels.

  The fixed seating position allowed for a more compact cockpit; the pedals and steering column are adjustable to the driver’s height.

  Final Model Year Production of the road-going Ford GT ended in late 2022. The final special edition was the GT LM Edition, a limited run of 20 cars commemorating the brand’s victory in the LMGTE Pro class at the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans.
