  The Ferrari 849 Testarossa represents a profound evolution of the hybrid hypercar concept, replacing the SF90 Stradale in the model range.

  The project aims to radically increase specific power and reinterpret the brand's historical heritage through the prism of modern technology.

  In 2025, the model became Ferrari's technological flagship, combining the extreme performance of a track car with the refined ergonomics of a road car.

  Powerplant At the heart of the architecture is a modernized 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine (index F154FC).

  Maranello engineers completely overhauled the components, introducing lightweight titanium connecting rods and an optimized intake system, which increased the engine's output to 830 hp.

  The total power of the system, combined with three electric motors, is 1050 hp.

  The temperature regime of the unit has been optimized thanks to an updated configuration of radiators and enlarged air intakes integrated into the side panels of the body.

  Transmission and dynamics The power unit is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch robotic transmission, whose shifting algorithm is borrowed from the special SF90 XX version.

  The all-wheel drive system is implemented through intelligent torque distribution to the front axle using two independent electric motors.

  Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 2.3 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 340 km/h.

  Its dynamic characteristics allow the car to occupy a dominant position in the segment of production hybrid supercars.

  Exterior and aerodynamics The design of the 849 Testarossa, developed under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, references the aesthetics of 1970s sports prototypes, in particular the 512 S model.

  A key element is the functional "gills" on the doors, which act as aerodynamic channels for cooling the intercoolers.

  The active rear wing, combined with a massive diffuser, generates up to 415 kg of downforce at 250 km/h (in the Assetto Fiorano version).

  The carbon-ceramic braking system with ABS Evo controller ensures high stability during intense deceleration.

  Interior The cockpit is driver-oriented and designed according to a "single-seat" architecture, where all controls are grouped around the new-generation steering wheel.

  The interior is dominated by composite materials, matte carbon fiber, and specialized leather.

  The multimedia system with a 16-inch curved display is integrated into the horizontal panel, minimizing distraction.

  The Tailor Made personalization program offers a wide range of material options, including unique carbon fiber weaves.
