Porsche to introduce a 911 GT3 sport cabriolet next month
Porsche is reported to be preparing a convertible variant of its high‑performance 911 GT3 for a March debut and imminent order books.
Sources say the GT3 Sport Cabriolet will carry the GT3’s 4.0‑litre flat‑six and roughly 502 hp, and will offer both a six‑speed manual and a 7‑speed PDK.
Porsche product teams and select dealers are said to be coordinating allocations and sales communications.
If confirmed, the cabriolet brings GT3 performance into an open‑top package and matters because it alters 2026 production priorities, could command a price premium, and will affect dealer allocations and early resale values.
For buyers, the model expands options for track‑capable convertibles and may intensify competition for limited initial allocations.
