• Product description

  The Maextro S800 Hybrid is a luxury hybrid sedan developed by the Chinese brand Maextro in collaboration with Huawei (providing technological support) and the JAC automotive group.

  The model combines electric propulsion, a gasoline range extender, and premium comfort, positioning itself as a competitor to Western premium sedans.

  In the hybrid configuration, the sedan is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine that acts as a generator to extend the driving range and does not transmit mechanical power to the wheels.

  The total system power, combining electric motors and the gasoline generator, reaches 864 horsepower in the top-of-the-line EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) version.

  Drivetrain: all-wheel drive (AWD).

  The hybrid system operates with a ≈65 kWh battery (EREV), providing a combined range of up to ≈1,333 km depending on the battery configuration and gasoline range extender.

  The electric range without the internal combustion engine running is approximately 340–400 km, which is typical for hybrid electric vehicles with a range extender.

  Acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 4.7 seconds; the top speed of the hybrid version is limited to 200 km/h based on configuration specifications and tires.

  The sedan’s body features substantial dimensions that underscore the car’s class, while its profile and active aerodynamic elements are optimized to reduce drag and improve stability on the highway.
