  The 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 is the final and most extreme version of the classic Challenger with a HEMI V8 engine.

  It is the first production muscle car to officially cover a quarter-mile in less than nine seconds.

  Powertrain and Performance The car is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI D170 V8 with a 3.0-liter supercharger.

  Running on E85 fuel, the engine produces 1,025 l. s. and 1,281 N·m.

  When running on regular E10 gasoline, power output is 900 liters of force, and torque is 1,098 N·m.

  The eight-speed TorqueFlite 8HP90 automatic transmission sends all that power to the rear wheels.

  On a prepared drag strip, acceleration to 60 mph takes 1.66 seconds, and G-force at launch reaches 2.004 g.

  The Demon 170 covers the quarter-mile in an NHRA-certified 8.91 seconds, crossing the finish line at a speed of approximately 243 km/h.

  Drag Racing Technologies The TransBrake 2.0 system allows torque to be pre-set before the start, while Drag mode optimizes the operation of the transmission, suspension, and traction control.

  The SRT Power Chiller system uses the air conditioning to cool the compressor intercooler.

  The rear axle is fitted with 315/50 R17 Mickey Thompson street drag tires.

  The reinforced differential, driveshaft, and half-shafts are designed to withstand extreme loads during the launch.

  Limited Edition The Demon 170 became the seventh and final model in the Dodge Last Call program.

  Production was limited to 3,300 units: up to 3,000 vehicles for the U.S. and 300 for Canada.
