Overview
The 2024 Pagani Utopia is an Italian hypercar conceived as a modern continuation of the philosophy behind the Zonda and Huayra.
It combines hand-built construction and advanced composite materials with an analogue driving character, without a hybrid system.
Engine and performance
Mounted behind the cabin, the 6.0-litre V12 twin-turbo engine was developed by Mercedes-AMG specifically for Pagani.
It produces 864 hp and 1,100 Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the rear wheels.
Two seven-speed Xtrac transmissions were offered: a conventional manual gearbox and an automated manual transmission (AMT).
The estimated 0–100 km/h time is around 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is limited to 350 km/h.
Construction and interior
The monocoque is made from Pagani’s Carbo-Titanium and Carbo-Triax materials, contributing to a dry weight of just 1,280 kg.
Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes and adaptive dampers support precise handling.
The interior combines leather, carbon fibre and machined aluminium.
Analogue instruments and the exposed mechanism of the manual gearbox emphasise the car’s focus on direct interaction between driver and machine.
