Pagani Huayra R (2022)
The Pagani Huayra R is an extreme track-only hypercar, with no approval for use on public roads.
Conceived as the spiritual successor to the Zonda R, it combines a naturally aspirated engine, low weight and aerodynamics developed to prototype-racing standards.
Engine and performance
Mounted behind the cabin, the naturally aspirated 6.0-litre Pagani V12-R engine was developed in collaboration with HWA AG.
It produces 850 PS and 750 Nm of torque, with a maximum engine speed of 9,000 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed sequential gearbox.
The estimated 0–100 km/h time is around 2.8 seconds, while the projected top speed is approximately 350 km/h.
Construction and aerodynamics
The monocoque, made from Carbo-Titanium and Carbo-Triax materials, helps keep the car’s dry weight to 1,050 kg.
Its extensive aerodynamic package generates up to 1,000 kg of downforce at 320 km/h.
Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic brakes, Pirelli racing slicks and electronically controlled dampers are intended exclusively for use on closed circuits.
