One-off Vanquish Volante Wave Edition to be auctioned in Naples
Aston Martin’s Q division and Aston Martin Naples unveiled a one-off Vanquish Volante called the Wave Edition and confirmed it will be offered at the Naples Winter Wine Festival auction on 31 January 2026. The bespoke convertible features a Q Iridescent Sapphire finish, gloss-black carbon-fibre accents, and a glacier-white interior with pale-blue stitching.
The car retains the Vanquish’s V12 performance specification and is presented as a singular commission whose proceeds will benefit the Naples Children - Education Foundation.
The sale matters because it showcases Q’s high-end personalisation capability, is likely to draw strong bidding for a rare V12 drop-top, and highlights Aston Martin’s strategy of using bespoke commissions to generate publicity and charitable contributions.
For collectors and dealers the result will signal demand for one-off commissions and could influence future special-order pricing and marketing for Aston Martin’s remaining V12 derivatives.
