Rolls-Royce presents Project Nightingale, the first coachbuild collection
Rolls‑Royce presented Project Nightingale, a new Coachbuild Collection built on the electric Spectre architecture.
The marque unveiled a production concept for a two‑seat, open‑top coachbuilt motor car and said only 100 examples will be hand‑built at Goodwood.
Chief executive Chris Brownridge and director of design Domagoj Dukec led the announcement and confirmed the car will enter a global testing and validation programme with client deliveries scheduled from 2028. The development matters because Rolls‑Royce is extending bespoke coachbuilding onto its EV platform, enabling novel surfacing, unique materials and new manufacturing techniques.
The move targets ultra‑wealthy clients through a curated commissioning programme and shifts the company’s product and revenue strategy for high‑margin, limited‑run electric commissions.
