2025 Porsche 911 GT2 RS
The Porsche 911 GT3 RS (2025) is the pinnacle of Porsche GT's engineering, representing a race car that has been legalized for road use.
The 2025 model continues to dominate the track sports car segment thanks to its central radiator concept (as in the 911 RSR) and active aerodynamics.
In the Weissach Package version, the car is made as light as possible through the extensive use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) and magnesium.
At its heart is a high-revving 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-6 engine.
The engine features a rigid valve train, individual throttle valves, and a dry sump lubrication system.
Peak power is 525 hp at 8,500 rpm, with a cut-off at 9,000 rpm.
Power is transmitted to the rear axle via a 7-speed PDK robot with a shortened gear ratio (Final Drive).
Dynamics: Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.2 seconds.
The maximum speed is 296 km/h.
The model's main weapon is downforce: active front spoilers and a double rear wing with a Drag Reduction System (DRS) generate 860 kg of downforce at 285 km/h.
The exterior with the Weissach package features a visible carbon fiber structure on the hood, roof, mirror housings, and upper part of the rear wing.
The rear is adorned with the PORSCHE logo integrated into the brake light.
The wheel arches are filled with optional forged magnesium wheels (reducing unsprung weight by 8 kg), available only in this package.
The interior is driver-oriented: carbon fiber Full Bucket Seats, ultra-light door panels with hinge handles, and magnesium steering wheel paddles (with tactile click).
The steering wheel has four rotary switches (Manettino) for instant adjustment of the suspension (PASM), traction vectoring (PTV), and ESC/TC.
The safety cage in the Weissach package is also made of carbon fiber (6 kg lighter than steel).
Key specifications: Engine: 4.0L Flat-6 Naturally aspirated Power: 525 hp @ 8500 rpm Transmission: 7-speed PDK (Short Ratio) Drive: Rear-wheel drive (RWD) 0–100 km/h acceleration: 3.2 seconds Top speed: 296 km/h Aerodynamics: Active (DRS), 860 kg downforce Wheels/tires: 20"/21", forged magnesium (Weissach) Interior: Carbon fiber frame, magnesium petals Status: The most technologically advanced naturally aspirated 911 in Porsche history The 911 GT3 RS (2025) is the ultimate tool for track days, where engine power is secondary to record-breaking aerodynamic efficiency and surgical precision of the chassis.
