Two Bugatti Chiron units were offered at a Manila customs auction
Manila authorities auctioned eight seized luxury vehicles on February 11, 2026, including two Bugatti Chiron hypercars, in a public sale tied to assets seized from the Discaya couple.
The Bureau of Customs said proceeds will support government programs, and television host Willie Revillame was reported among bidders.
The appearance of high-value Bugatti units at an official auction highlights enforcement efforts to convert illicit or disputed assets into public funds, raises questions about provenance documentation and could spur tighter cross-border cooperation and oversight of luxury-asset seizures.
