Tuner’s Grenadier echoes Defender heritage with a Heritage Remastered package
Chelsea Truck Company has released a ‘Heritage Remastered’ package for the Ineos Grenadier that deliberately references styling cues from classic Land Rover Defenders, including Grasmere-like green paint, steel-look wheels and vintage bumpers.
The project was showcased by Project Kahn and Afzal Kahn, and retains the Grenadier’s BMW-sourced straight-six powertrains while adding period-inspired trim and interior finishes.
The work reopens debate over aftermarket reinterpretations of Land Rover styling.
It matters because bespoke builds are driving niche demand, shaping public perceptions of Defender heritage, and influencing how legacy designs are monetised outside the factory.
The pricing and visible association with Defender aesthetics may affect collector interest and aftermarket trends for contemporary Land Rover models.
