Rolls‑Royce unveils Phantom Arabesque with laser‑engraved bonnet

Rolls‑Royce unveiled the Phantom Arabesque, a one‑of‑one Phantom commissioned via its Private Office in Dubai that carries the marque’s first fully laser‑engraved bonnet.

The Mashrabiya‑inspired geometric motif was created by painting a dark base, sealing it under multiple clear coats, applying a lighter top layer and using precision lasers to cut to depths of roughly 145–190 microns.

Engraved areas were then hand‑sanded to produce a three‑dimensional, durable finish.

Finished in two‑tone Diamond Black and Silver with bespoke interior details and an illuminated Pantheon grille, the car has already been delivered to its client.

The technique, developed over five years within Rolls‑Royce’s Extraordinary Surface Centre, expands the company’s Bespoke toolkit, offering a new durable surface treatment for limited commissions and signalling a possible new standard for high‑end personalization.
