Porsche adds Plug - Charge access for model year 2026 Taycan at Tesla Superchargers
Porsche Cars North America announced that its Porsche Charging Service now enables Plug - Charge at more than 27,500 Tesla Supercharging stations for model year 2026 Taycan vehicles.
Compatible Taycan cars can authenticate and pay at participating Superchargers automatically, removing the need for separate apps, cards or manual payment.
PCNA says the change will reduce queuing and shorten charging sessions for Taycan owners.
The company also says Plug - Charge will be added to the Cayenne Electric later in 2026 when that model arrives in the U.S.
Why it matters: broader Plug - Charge access increases usable high‑power infrastructure for Porsche EVs, simplifies long‑distance travel and improves owner convenience through tighter cross‑network interoperability.
Owners should enable the feature in the My Porsche app and expect software and adapter updates from dealers.
Porsche Taycan you can buy at VIPCAR International.
