The New Bentley Bentayga Speed V-8 Outpunches the W-12
Bentley unveiled the 2026 Bentayga Speed, replacing its retired W‑12 with an uprated 4.0‑liter twin‑turbo V8 rated at 641 hp and 627 lb‑ft of torque.
Bentley engineers say the package reduces curb weight, adds rear‑wheel steering, tightens Sport mode damping and introduces an ESC Dynamic setting that permits controllable, on‑throttle slip for drift‑style driving; carbon‑ceramic brakes and an optional Akrapovič titanium exhaust are available.
Bentley positions the Speed as the range flagship with a claimed 0–62 mph time near 3.4 seconds and a 193 mph top speed, a move that reshapes the model hierarchy and will influence customer orders and delivery timing for the 2026 model year.
