Bugatti unveils Tourbillon hypercar and confirms limited run
Bugatti announced the Tourbillon, a new flagship hypercar scheduled for 2026 with a tightly capped production run of 250 units.
The company says the car pairs a next‑generation V16 combustion engine with hybrid assistance to produce roughly 1,775–1,800 horsepower and targets top speeds above 400 km/h.
Development partners named in the announcement include Cosworth for engine engineering and Swiss craftsmen for bespoke cockpit instruments; hand assembly will take place at Bugatti’s Molsheim atelier.
Why it matters: the Tourbillon replaces the Chiron family as Bugatti’s limited‑volume halo model, sets engineering and production priorities for 2026, and will influence customer ordering, pricing and collector values as the marque moves into a hybrid performance era.
