Brabus’s mint‑green Urus SE debut highlights tuner’s move into Lamborghini territory
Brabus debuted two extreme conversions of the Urus SE at recent events, pitching the tuner’s first Lamborghini projects as limited, high‑performance commissions that push combined output to about 900 hp and add aggressive aero and widebody carbon panels.
The company showcased the 900 Mint and the 900 Superblack variants, emphasizing visual theatre — oversized 24‑inch wheels, reworked bumpers and pronounced diffusers — alongside performance tweaks that shave tenths from factory acceleration.
Brabus positions the cars as bespoke collector items with bespoke interiors and a premium price that could approach seven figures in some markets.
The reveal signals a business shift: Brabus is broadening its platform scope, intensifying competition in the hyper‑SUV aftermarket, and prompting owners, dealers and insurers to reassess maintenance, compliance and residual‑value impacts for heavily modified plug‑in hybrid super‑SUVs.
