Amalgam unveils 1:8 scale McLaren W1 model
Amalgam Collection unveiled a 1:8 scale replica of the McLaren W1 on Feb 24, 2026, produced in direct collaboration with McLaren Automotive.
The limited Launch Specification (199 units) and bespoke Tailor Made commissions were engineered from official CAD files and factory paint codes.
Each 57 cm model demands over 300 hours of hand assembly after a 3,000‑hour development process and includes working scissor doors, an operational remote‑control rear wing and a fully detailed interior.
Available through Amalgam and McLaren dealer channels from £14,995 / $19,995, the official replica creates a sanctioned, transferable record of an owner's vehicle specification.
