Mercedes-Benz S 680 Guard VR10 (W223) An engineering solution that combines uncompromising protection with the benchmark comfort of the flagship sedan.

The Guard project is not just about armoring the body, but rather the deep factory integration of protective elements into the very structure of the car, which allows it to retain its original ergonomics and dynamic potential.

Power plant The central element is a naturally aspirated (with twin turbochargers) V12 engine with a displacement of 6.0 liters.

The unit develops 612 hp and 830 Nm of torque.

The intake and exhaust systems have been upgraded to ensure stable operation under increased thermal loads caused by the increased weight of the vehicle.

Transmission and dynamics Torque is distributed to all four wheels via a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission.

For the first time in the Guard series, intelligent traction distribution is implemented via the 4Matic all-wheel drive system.

Despite its considerable weight, acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.0 seconds.

The maximum speed is electronically limited to 190 km/h in order to preserve the integrity of the tires when driving in critical conditions.

The integration of VR10 armor has not reduced the usable space; hydraulically assisted door closers are installed, allowing heavy armored doors to be opened with minimal effort.

Air filtration and fire extinguishing systems are available, integrated into the overall interior design.
