2025 Mercedes-Benz G 900 Brabus Crawler 1 of 15
The Brabus 900 Crawler is a radical engineering interpretation of the Mercedes-AMG G63 platform, transformed into a high-performance off-road buggy.
The project aims to achieve extreme off-road capabilities while maintaining supercar dynamics, combining weight optimization with uncompromising power.
Despite the absence of a traditional body, the car retains the premium build standards characteristic of the German atelier.
The power structure is based on a deeply modernized Brabus Rocket 900 engine.
The V8's displacement has been increased from the factory 4.0 to 4.5 liters.
A twin-turbo system with enlarged compressors and optimization of the engine management program have made it possible to achieve 900 hp.
The peak torque is 1250 Nm, but to protect the transmission, it is electronically limited to 1050 Nm.
The exhaust system is equipped with sound control valves to adjust the acoustic accompaniment.
The transmission is a 9-speed automatic gearbox that provides fast gear changes.
A permanent all-wheel drive system with differential locks is implemented.
A key feature of the chassis is the proprietary portal axles, which increase ground clearance to 530 mm.
Acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 3.4 seconds, which is an outstanding figure for off-road vehicles.
The maximum speed is electronically limited to 160 km/h due to the use of specialized off-road tires.
The exterior is formed by a high-strength tubular frame and an open carbon fiber body without doors or windows.
The aerodynamics have been redesigned to take into account the specifics of the open cockpit: a massive spoiler on the roof provides the necessary downforce and stability at high speeds.
The car is equipped with 20-inch Brabus Monoblock HD forged wheels and a reinforced braking system adapted to high thermal loads.
The interior is made of materials that are resistant to environmental influences.
Four separate Recaro carbon racing seats are installed, upholstered with wear-resistant Silvertex fabric used in shipbuilding.
The dashboard and controls are borrowed from the donor, but integrated into a new cockpit architecture using red anodized aluminum and carbon fiber.
An integrated intercom system is provided for communication between passengers.
