  2026 Mercedes C400 4MATIC Electric New Model Range: 760 km (WLTP cycle).

  Externally, the car differs from versions with internal combustion engines.

  The new model features a wider, illuminated grille (optional) and signature LED headlights.

  The body has a coupe-like silhouette and an aerodynamically optimized design—the drag coefficient starts at 0.22 Cd.

  According to Mercedes, even a reduction of 0.01 adds up to 2.5% to the range on the highway.

  The Mercedes C-Class electric vehicle is equipped with a 94 kWh battery.

  The C 400 4MATIC version offers up to 762 km of range under the WLTP cycle.

  According to the manufacturer, with just one short stop, the car can travel over 1,000 km—for example, from Berlin to Paris (1,054 km).

  Engineers have implemented fast-charging support.

  In 10 minutes, the electric car adds up to 325 km of range when using 800-volt stations with a power output of up to 330 kW.

  The flagship version features two electric motors and all-wheel drive.

  The total power output is 360 kW (482 hp).

  Acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 4 seconds.

  A rear-wheel-drive version with a longer range—up to 800 km (WLTP)—will be released later.

  To ensure comfort, the car features AIRMATIC air suspension and rear-wheel steering.

  Mercedes says the car is "extremely agile in corners and just as smooth on long drives as the S-Class."

  The interior features new premium seats and a large digital interface.

  The MBUX Hyperscreen—a 99.3 cm display spanning the entire dashboard—is available as an option.

  The base model comes with a 10.3-inch instrument cluster and a 14-inch multimedia screen.

  An additional 14-inch passenger display can be installed as an option.

  The seats are upholstered in Softtorino material and feature 4-way lumbar support, heating, ventilation, and massage functions.

  Top-tier versions feature a Burmester 4D audio system with speakers built directly into the seats.

  Among the new features is a climate control system that heats the cabin twice as fast as gasoline models, even at -7°C during a 20-minute drive.

  The wheelbase has increased to 2,962 mm (up 97 mm), providing more space: 12 mm of additional legroom in the front and more headroom thanks to the panoramic roof.

  The new C-Class EV features the MB.OS system and the MBUX Virtual Assistant.

  The infotainment system combines the capabilities of ChatGPT, Microsoft Bing, and Google Gemini, expanding the range of interactions with the car.

  Sales of the Mercedes C-Class EV in the C 400 4MATIC version will begin in the first half of 2027. Prices will be announced closer to the electric vehicle’s market launch.
