Under the hood is a thoroughly modernized 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine with a 65-degree cylinder angle. Thanks to the use of titanium connecting rods, a lightweight crankshaft, and a new intake system, engineers have increased power to 830 hp and torque to 692 Nm. Maximum rpm has been increased to 9,500 rpm, providing sharp response to the accelerator pedal and linear power delivery. The transmission is a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches, whose software has been optimized to reduce shift times by 5%. Rear-wheel drive is implemented with an E-Diff 3.0 electronic differential and an independent rear-wheel steering system. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.85 seconds, and the top speed exceeds 340 km/h, providing outstanding dynamics in its class. The exterior of the car is dictated by functional aerodynamics: the front splitter, active flaps, and massive rear diffuser generate high downforce. A special feature of the Aperta version is the removable carbon fiber roof panel and redesigned roll bars, which optimize airflow by directing it to the rear spoiler for increased stability at high speeds. The interior is dominated by lightweight materials: technical fabric, Alcantara, and carbon fiber.
