2025 Ferrari 296 GTS Novitec N-Largo
In the world of high automotive art, there is a fine line between serial perfection and absolute exclusivity. The Ferrari 296 GTS, rolling off the assembly line in Maranello, is in itself a manifesto of a new era—hybrid, technological, emotional. However, Novitec N-LARGO takes this philosophy and elevates it to the absolute, transforming the elegant roadster into an uncompromising projectile that exists at the intersection of engineering genius and collectible rarity. This is not just tuning, it is a complete metamorphosis, available only to the select few: only 15 units will be produced worldwide. Here, utility gives way to a demonstration of power, and the open roof serves only to ensure that nothing separates the driver from the symphony of mechanical superiority. At the heart of this engineering masterpiece is an innovative 3.0-liter V6 with a 120-degree crank angle, working in tandem with an MGU-K electric motor. However, Novitec engineers have revised the engine control maps and intake system, allowing the power unit to breathe freely. The result is a total output of 868 horsepower, which exceeds the stock figure. But the numbers are only half the story. The main thing is the sound. Thanks to a custom exhaust system made of Inconel (an ultra-light heat-resistant alloy used in Formula 1) and sports catalytic converters, the car has acquired a voice that makes your blood run cold. This is not a synthetic rumble, but a pure, high-frequency aria worthy of the atmospheric engines of the past. The 8-speed robotic transmission with two clutches works with surgical precision, providing an instant, almost telepathic response to the accelerator pedal. The changes in dynamics are dictated not only by power, but also by radically redesigned aerodynamics and chassis. The N-LARGO body has been widened by 6 centimeters at the front and 14 centimeters at the rear, which required a complete redesign of the body panels. This is not just a visual effect: the increased track width radically changes the car's behavior in corners, making it monumentally stable. The suspension has been fitted with sport springs, reducing the ground clearance by 35 millimeters, which further lowers the center of gravity to the asphalt. At the same time, respecting the realities of public roads, the engineers retained and refined the hydraulic front axle lift system, which allows the car to overcome speed bumps without the risk of damaging the precious splitter. The exterior of the Novitec N-LARGO is a celebration of carbon fiber and aggressive aesthetics. All new body elements are made of carbon fiber, which has kept the weight within reasonable limits despite the increase in size. The visual dominance is completed by forged Vossen NF11 NL wheels with a central nut — 21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear. Their double-spoke design not only emphasizes status but also contributes to the effective cooling of the brake mechanisms. The interior is a realm of personalization. It is dominated by the finest Alcantara and leather, whose color and texture are limited only by the customer's imagination, but the ergonomics remain exemplary: all attention is focused on the driver who controls this complex digital-analog organism.
