2025 Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider
Ferrari 12Cilindri (literally "12 Cylinders") is a new two-seater berlinetta grand tourer, which has become the ideological successor to the 812 Superfast. The model is positioned as a tribute to the legendary V12 architecture, rejecting hybridization and turbocharging in favor of pure engineering artistry. The car's design is radically different from its predecessors, referencing the styling of the 1970s Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona with its distinctive "mask" on the front. At its heart is a thoroughly modernized 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine (index F140HD). Engineers have lightened the connecting rods (titanium) and pistons and optimized the intake and exhaust. The engine revs up to a stratospheric 9,500 rpm. Power is 830 hp, torque is 678 Nm. Traction is transmitted to the rear axle via a new 8-speed dual-clutch (DCT) robotic gearbox, which shifts 30% faster than the 812's transmission. Dynamics: Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 2.9 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h takes less than 7.9 seconds. The maximum speed exceeds 340 km/h. Handling is refined by the Virtual Short Wheelbase 3.0 independent rear-wheel steering system and Side Slip Control 8.0. The exterior combines futuristic minimalism with retro references. A key feature is the cofango-type hood (combined with the fenders), which opens against the direction of travel. The front optics are united by a glossy black strip. The rear is devoid of a traditional spoiler: its role is performed by two active aerodynamic flaps working in tandem with the underbody to generate downforce. The wheels are 21-inch, machined from a single piece of aluminum. The interior is designed in a "dual cockpit" concept, almost symmetrically dividing the driver and passenger areas. The architecture includes three displays: a 15.6" instrument panel, a 10.25" central screen, and an 8.8" screen for the passenger. Eco-friendly materials (Alcantara with recycled polyester) are widely used in the trim. Key features: * Engine: V12 6.5L naturally aspirated (F140HD) * Power: 830 hp @ 9250 rpm * Torque: 678 Nm @ 7250 rpm * Transmission: 8-speed DCT * Drive: Rear-wheel drive (RWD) with 4WS steering axle * Acceleration 0–100 km/h: 2.9 seconds * Top speed: >340 km/h * Body: Berlinetta, active aerodynamics * Wheels/tires: 21", Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 or Goodyear Eagle F1 * Interior: 2 seats, 3 displays, Dual Cockpit * Status: New flagship V12 without hybrids The Ferrari 12Cilindri is an uncompromising manifesto of naturally aspirated engine building, wrapped in a futuristic design with the spirit of the legendary Daytona.
