The BMW ALPINA XB7 2025 is an alternative take on the concept of heavy luxury, combining the Bavarian technology of the X7 with the elite handcrafted refinement of the Buchloe manufactory. Unlike the hard-core M versions, the XB7 offers a "First Class Adventure" philosophy: phenomenal dynamics do not conflict with a smooth ride, but complement it. This is a crossover capable of crossing continents at speeds unattainable by most sports cars, while maintaining absolute silence in the cabin. At its heart is a thoroughly modernized 4.4-liter V8 Bi-Turbo (S68) with mild hybrid technology (48V). Alpina engineers have implemented their own twin-scroll turbochargers with increased boost pressure of 2.0 bar, optimized the intake and cooling system (additional radiators for oil and gearbox). Power output is 621 hp (457 kW), and torque of 800 Nm is available from 2000 rpm, providing instant, "locomotive-like" acceleration. The transmission is a reinforced 8-speed ZF automatic with ALPINA SWITCH-TRONIC firmware, which guarantees smooth gear changes. Dynamics: Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h for this 2.7-ton giant takes just 4.2 seconds. The maximum speed is 290 km/h (one of the fastest SUVs in the world). The air suspension has been specifically tuned by Alpina: when Sport mode is selected or the speed exceeds 250 km/h, the body automatically lowers by 40 mm, changing the aerodynamic profile and center of gravity. Active roll suppression and integral steering (rear-wheel steering) are included as standard. The exterior is designed in a restrained, athletic style. The front bumper with enlarged air intakes and ALPINA lettering reduces lift. The rear is adorned with a diffuser with four oval tailpipes of the stainless steel sports exhaust system. The model's calling card is the optional 23-inch ALPINA CLASSIC forged wheels with 20 spokes, whose design has remained unchanged for decades. They are fitted with specially developed Pirelli P Zero "ALP" tires. The interior is dominated by LAVALINA leather.
