The Legacy Edition project focuses on radically improving performance and optimizing the aerodynamic profile while maintaining the fundamental reliability and comfort of the production vehicle. It is a collector's item that combines track efficiency with the utility of an everyday crossover. Under the hood is an upgraded 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 (TFSI) engine. Thanks to the installation of the proprietary ABT Engine Control unit and a high-performance intercooler system, the power output of the power unit has been increased from the factory 600 hp and 800 Nm to an impressive 760 hp and 980 Nm of torque. The integrated stainless steel exhaust system with four 102 mm diameter tailpipes optimizes gas exchange and produces a deep, low-frequency acoustic signature. Traction is provided by an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission in conjunction with the quattro permanent all-wheel drive system and a sport differential. Intelligent torque distribution allows the heavy crossover to demonstrate supercar dynamics: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h has been reduced to 3.3 seconds (compared to 3.8 seconds for the stock version). The exterior of the car has been redesigned using a large number of visible carbon fiber elements (Carbon Bold). The wheel arches are fitted with forged 23-inch ABT High Performance IR23 wheels in gloss black, which reduce unsprung weight. The interior features extensive use of Dinamica and Alcantara materials, as well as carbon fiber inserts on the dashboard and seat frames. The sports steering wheel has a "12 o'clock" mark, and the sills and center console feature "1 of 125" laser engravings confirming its limited edition status.
